Kelly Sears is partnering with Hickling Arthurs Low to conduct a major review of 32 R&D programs launched by NRC between 2012-13 and 2017-18. The objectives of the review are to assess the performance of all 32 programs; assess their value-for-money; and identify lessons learned. The study will involve an extensive document and literature review; the conduct of 45 interviews within NRC and with program clients; and an online survey of program clients. A cost-benefit analysis will be conducted in order to determine whether the benefits from the programs to Canada exceed their costs. The study will be completed in March 2020.
